I barely had time to put together a bento today, but I managed and squeaked into work just before I would have been considered tardy. I'm obviously still working on my time management skills, but I've always had a problem with them so I'm not expecting them to get better overnight.
Putting together an ochazuke bento was the easiest thing for me to do this morning in my limited time.
Bottom bowl has leftover rice and chopped bell peppers. I topped this with the ochazuke seasoning and added hot water when I was ready to eat.
The middle container has a bear-shaped egg, green grape halves, baby carrots, blackberries and cheddar cheese cubes. I also brought two clementines with me for a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack.
Great bento, I love ochazuke, even as a kid.
ReplyDeleteLOL in my enthusiasm I was a bit quick with my reply to your most recent post ;) I see you add water to you ochazuke... Do you occasionally try green tea as well?
ReplyDeleteGood idea to add some veggies! I'll remember that.
lol, gnoegnoe that's okay! I get really enthusiastic about bento, too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried using green tea yet, but might sometime in the future. Using the seasoning packet and regular hot water is super simple for me so I opt for that most of the time.
I love adding veggies to it! I had it the other day without any added veggies and didn't like it nearly as much.
